The 478 farmers of the CESMACH co-op grow their crops in the buffer of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, one of the world’s most diverse forest reserves and Meso-America’s largest continuous cloud forest. All coffee grown in the co-op is shade-grown and biological corridors have been created in order to facilitate bird and animal migration.
